› What is the MEDI-STRAP PROTEC™ and the MEDI-DISC PROTEC™?

They are custom fitted, medical grade disposable covers designed specifically for your Class II cleared EMS medical device.

› Why do I need covers?

To protect the medical device underneath and the skin of Users from making contact with any fluid, bacterial or viral particulates.

› Isn't the covering washable?

Yes, per the Owner's Manual, it must be washed after each and every User, which is not sustainable.

› I use a damp cloth to wipe down my device applicators, isn't that enough?

The Owner's Manual cautions “do not use any abrasive cleaners, alkaline-based solutions or alcohol” on the fabric nor sprays to be used on the disc design nor to “allow moisture to penetrate any of the components” of the PEMF medical device. A damp cloth with no permissible disinfectant leaves no confidence that any bacteria has been eliminated.

› What do these covers protect against?

Lab tests concluded that the MEDI-STRAP PROTEC™ and the MEDI-DISC PROTEC™ cannot be penetrated by viral, bacterial, airborne fluid particulates, nor water, water-based drinks, Alcohol, Peroxide, Oil or oil based Cosmeceuticals; nor Bodily fluids such as saliva, sweat, urine, blood nor feces.

› Can these Strap and Disc covers be autoclaved for re-use?

No, these are disposable and will not withstand the heat.

› Are these covers sterile?

No, as their application is not administered in a sterile environment.

However, Private Labeling is available and the MEDI-STRAP PROTEC™ and MEDI-DISC PROTEC™ can be printed and cut in a CLASS 8 Clean Room, upon request.

› Are the covers made with HEPA filters or N95 grade?

The covers need not be breathable.

› Can my Patients and Clientele put the covers on themselves or does the medical device need Office Staff monitoring or assistance?

Yes, within seconds anyone who has been entrusted to use the medical device can slip on the strap or disc covers.

› Do I have permission from the medical device manufacturer to use these covers?
